you can't say no to hope - character reference tables

Use the tables below to submit translations that require letters or symbols outside of the typical Windows extended character set. For each one, the HTML code required to print that character is found immediately to the left of the character. By stringing these codes together, you can compose a translation in any of the languages that use these symbols. Copy the final letter string into an email and send it to mystory@openclose.com.

As an example, let's suppose you wanted to send the Icelandic translation listed on the previous page. The first word in the phrase is "Þú". Consulting the tables below, you find that this is made from characters with the codes Þ and ú so the word as a whole would be Þú Use " " to put a space between words. 

The whole phrase (Þú getur ekki hafnað voninni) would be:

Þú getur ekki hafnað voninni

We will soon be revising these pages to be a bit more user friendly, particularly by categorizing them into language groups. Also, several thousand Japanese and Chinese characters will be added too!
